Hello. My name is Aleydis. I am a senior research fellow at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Centre de Droit International), and the coordinator of the course women's rights at Leiden University.  I am also a member of the Flemish Housing Fund's Board of Directors.

Cambridge University Press published my book "The European Union, Emerging Global Business and Human Rights".  This book operates between numerous complex legal orders. Apart from international and supranational EU law perspectives, the book integrates (field) studies covering global value chains: floriculture in Kenya and the Netherlands and electronics in South Korea and France. The European Journal of International Law (OUP), the Chicago Journal of International Law, the Journal of Human Rights Practice (OUP) and the Business and Human Rights Journal (CUP) are some of the journals that published my work. I conducted, amongst others, comparative, historical and feminist critical discourse analysis for these publications.

My research has been featured in The Independent, The Diplomat and the Huffington Post. I was a visiting researcher at Seoul National University and the University of Oxford.
