Hello. My name is Aleydis. I am the coordinator of the course 'women's rights' at Leiden Law school. As principal investigator, I also obtained two research grants from FWO and F.R.S.-FNRS (affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles). I am a member of the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors & Accountants' Sustainability Working Group and a substitute member of the Flemish Human Rights Institute's Board of Directors.

Cambridge University Press published my book "The European Union, Emerging Global Business and Human Rights". I have also published in the European Journal of International Law, the Chicago Journal of International Law Online and the Business and Human Rights Journal.

My field work investigated electronics, floriculture and pharmaceutics value chains in South Korea, Kenya and Belgium. I was a visiting researcher at Seoul National University's Graduate School of International Studies and the University of Oxford's Centre for Socio-Legal Studies.
