Hello. My name is Aleydis. Since February 2020, I have been a research fellow at Leiden Law school. As principal investigator, I also obtained two research grants from FWO and F.R.S.-FNRS (affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles). I am a substitute member of the Board of Directors of the Flemish Human Rights Institute.

Cambridge University Press published my book "The European Union, Emerging Global Business and Human Rights". My field work investigated electronics, floriculture and pharmaceutics value chains in Belgium, Kenya and South-Korea. I was a visiting researcher at Seoul National University's Graduate School of International Studies and the University of Oxford's Centre for Socio-Legal Studies.
