CONGRATULATIONS, ÖZGE!

I am the proud PhD co-supervisor of artist Özge Akarsu at the Royal Institute for Theatre Cinema and Sound and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Akarsu exhibited her work in the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp M HKA to celebrate “Art’s Birthday”. In 1963, the French artist Robert Filliou imagined that "Art" was born on 17 January, 1,000,000 years ago. Please watch Akarsu’s art below - January 2023
