CONGRATULATIONS, ÖZGE!

I am the proud co-supervisor of PhD researcher and artist Özge Akarsu at the Royal Institute for Theatre Cinema and Sound and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Akarsu exhibited her work in the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp M HKA to celebrate “Art’s Birthday”. In 1963, the French artist Robert Filliou imagined that "Art" was born on 17 January, 1,000,000 years ago. Please watch Akarsu’s art below - January 2023
